From Boinc Manager selecting "projects", "your account", it shows "team = none". The URL id is nnn128 I select "participants" and it shows I am int he team I have been attempting to join... However, it shows Account number used in URLs as nnn185. I have had difficulty trying to join the same team across multiple computers and projects... PLEASE help me. (I have looked through Q&A without success). |

Sounds like once your machine updates to the project, it will reflect the team you have joined. Your post is user user ID nnn185, and that profile shows you a member of team number 9860, everything else is sort of irrelevant. If that is the user account that the host is on, then that is where credit will be reflected. Click the link in the left margin next to your own post. Then click on your computers and then the tasks on that computer. It should match what you see in your BOINC Manager display. [edit] actually.... it sounds like you have created multiple user accounts, because you are saying that the link you go to from BOINC Manager is not the one you are now posting from. You will have to detach machines from one user account and attach them using the EMail address for the other. Assuming you are wanting all of your machines to be under the same user account and team. It's all just based on EMail address. You have apparently entered different EMail addresses as you registered your machines. Rosetta Moderator: Mod.Sense |
