rosetta always shows 10% done, meanwhile, Einstein and SETI keep crunchin' along

using a Mac G4 with the latest BOINC

You may want to increase your switch time in the general preferences. The app currently does not checkpoint very often. If you don't make it to the next checkpoint you start over at the last one.
