As a recent refugee from Find-a-drug, I have set up Rosetta at Home on 2 machines which are permanently connected to the internet. I also have a laptop which is only occasionally used, and connected to the internet only once a week or even less. Is R@H a suitable project for this computer, or do the jobs expire in a short period and would therefore not be of value when results were eventually uploaded? Robin |

The deadline for the current work units is 28 days, so I think you should be fine. |

The deadline for the current work units is 28 days, so I think you should be fine. Thanks David - that answers the question, but leads to another! Next year I shall be away for about a month. When I switch on all the computers on my return home, will any expired work units be purged as soon as I connect to the internet? Robin |

fot the info (fellow FaD member :D) The deadline is displayed in BoincManager, Work Tab, Report Deadline column. So you can see the date for yourself. From what I've seen so far it will advise you to consider stopping the job and getting another one. But I've not seen it purge the job automatically.
