I think it is wonderful to have various projects that will benefit humanity as a whole, I would like to see estimated completion dates or at least progress bars on the various projects. Most people like to see some measurement of how well or poor they are doing, Right now it seems like the project work units are coming from a bottomless pit,

Would you feel comfortable driving a car with a malfunctioning gas gauge?

If the data set is so large that an educated estimate of completion date cannot be given then maybe the project be run on a supercomputer and produce results in a more timely fashion Does this make sense?
