Hello. Yes, the server has not had as many tasks as requested by all of the machines attached to the project. There are presently some tasks available, but with so many hosts short of tasks, there may be a period of catch-up. Unfortunately, I do not have any other information about the past or upcoming flow of work. Rosetta Moderator: Mod.Sense |

User Onii-chan has a 4 thread system with by far the highest credit per single computer out of any single system, multiple times higher than the 72 thread and 120 thread monster systems. He is also part of a blockchain cryptocurrency called Biblepay profiting off of his credit here while contributing very little if any scientific work. |

I completed a Rosetta analysis as of Feb. 9th of this year, yet it is still displayed as being in the "Uploading" mode. Should I be concerned about this? Thanks in advance for your help. XaurreauX |

It must have been caught in some server issues back at that time. Suggest you abort the work unit to clean it up. Rosetta Moderator: Mod.Sense |

It appears that Rosetta has stopped sending files. Is there a problem? |

It appears that Rosetta has stopped sending files. Is there a problem? Lots of tasks available. Maybe your other projects are just taking their turn with tasks? |

Still not receiving downloads from Rosetta. Could it be something wrong on my end? |

Pretty sure this is the wrong place to ask, but it was the most recent sign of life in the forums... I have noticed a similar problem, and I'm pretty sure the condition has been going on for some hours, but I'll post more details over in the Number Crunching forum... #1 Freedom = (Meaningful - Constrained) Choice{5} != (Beer^3 | Speech) |

User "manasd" has a 2 thread celeron system with the same RAC as 40-80 thread monster systems and all the credits are going to a cryptocurrency called Biblepay. |

Hello, User "manasd" has a Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU G1620 (2 processors) that is making 26,208.93 credit (more than my 2950x 16 core at 4ghz) and has still not been delt with. |

Rosetta doesn't appear to be sending out tasks to my clients: Thu 20 Dec 2018 10:43:23 AM AST | Rosetta@home | Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks |

Odd request.... more sentimental than technical; here it goes. After spending around $10,000 dollars in electricity and computers for rosetta@home, the hosts I have are more of an evolution than an actual system. Over the years, the physical boxes have changed hardware and operating systems a few times. The last update of a pair of systems to AMD CPUs led to them being unable to merge. They are easy to see in my profile as I have given them the same computer name. The issue I have is that the total credits each system has produced represents a cost on my part that has been incurred over several years. I would like that to be effort to be reflected in my hosts' total credits. If there is a way to merge the systems that I have upgraded to support Rosetta@home, will someone with that ability please do so. Processing bub.lynema.org Can't merge host 1761295 into 3543067 - they're incompatible Processing bob.lynema.org Can't merge host 2200729 into 3543070 - they're incompatible |

I'm sorry, but CPU upgrades are not recognized as upgraded hosts that could be merged. Rosetta Moderator: Mod.Sense |

Has Rosetta shut down for the holidays? My host has no tasks and when I tried to update the project it wouldn't even connect. --hedera Never be afraid to try something new. Remember that amateurs built the ark. Professionals built the Titanic. |

The servers are up-and-running, but it seems there are only a few, sporadic batches of work. The BOINC Manager will take care of doing retries. Meanwhile, it will download work from the other BOINC projects you have configured. Rosetta Moderator: Mod.Sense |

I'm sorry, but CPU upgrades are not recognized as upgraded hosts that could be merged. Thanks for the reply....that means I'm buying a laptop back. Then, I'll move to a VM with a fake cpu https://superuser.com/questions/625648 /virtualbox-how-to-force-a-specific-cpu-to-the-guest . Not sure why merging restrictions even exist when it is based on factors that can be spoofed. Reminds me of how Microsoft checked if a version of Windows was genuine. |
